Ken is a seasoned executive. He is a registered Professional Engineer with an under graduate degree from The Citadel and a Masters from the University of South Carolina in Electrical Engineering. He also has a Masters in Business Administration from Strayer University.
After a 22 year career in the US Navy (12 in the Submarine Force and 10 in the Civil Engineer Corps SEABEES), he joined the Department of Veterans Affairs and became the Director of Facilities Management at several large VA hospitals. He was selected as the VA Professional Engineer of the Year and VHA Chief Engineer of the Year in 2019. In 2020, he become the Chief Operating Officer/Associate Director of the Tennessee Valley VA Health Care System with a $1.6B operating budget. He retired in late 2022 from the VA.
Ken and his wife Beverly have 5 grown daughters and enjoy spending time on the water and with family.
